Robert Leslie Ellis

Robert Leslie Ellis was an English polymath best remembered as a mathematician and as an editor and contributor to Francis Bacon’s works. Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, he became Senior Wrangler in 1840 and later produced important work in mathematics, logic, and philosophy before his health declined in the late 1840s.[1][2][3]
