Robert Harris
Robert Harris, CBE (born 7 March 1957), is a British novelist and former journalist best known for his historical fiction and political thrillers, starting with the bestselling alternative-history novel Fatherland (1992).[1][2] He began his career in journalism at the BBC and newspapers like The Sunday Times and The Observer, later transitioning to fiction with works set in ancient Rome, World War II, and other historical periods.[1][3][4] His novels, including the Cicero Trilogy, Pompeii, Munich, and recent titles like Precipice (2024), have sold over 15 million copies worldwide and been translated into more than 40 languages.[2][5]
