Robert D San Souci

Robert D. San Souci was an award-winning American author known for his colorful and intelligent retellings of folktales and myths from diverse cultures for children and young adults. He wrote over 100 books, including the Short & Shivery series, and served as the story consultant for Disney's animated film 'Mulan'. San Souci died suddenly on December 19, 2014, at the age of 68 from a traumatic head injury incurred in a fall.
