Robert Beale

Robert Beale (1541–1601) was an English diplomat, administrator, and antiquary in the reign of Elizabeth I. He served as Clerk of the Privy Council and was closely involved in Elizabethan government and diplomacy, including documenting the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots.[6][8]
