Robert Baer
Robert Booker Baer is an American author and former CIA case officer who served primarily in the Middle East from 1976 to 1997, eventually becoming director of operations.[1][2] He is known for his memoir 'See No Evil: The True Story of a Ground Soldier in the CIA's War on Terrorism' (2002) and has contributed to major publications including Time, Vanity Fair, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.[1][2]
