Robert B. Helms

Robert B. Helms was a prominent health policy expert who served as director of health policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) starting in 1974. He was recognized as a leading scholar in the field, influencing numerous experts to advocate for a free and private health sector. Helms was nominated for a position documented by the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance in 1986 and left a lasting legacy of intellect and decency upon his death.
