Robert A. Wardhaugh

Robert Alexander Wardhaugh is a Canadian historian and professor of history at Western University in London, Ontario, specializing in Canadian political history and author of books such as Mackenzie King and the Prairie West.[1][2][4] He is renowned for hosting the world's longest uninterrupted Dungeons & Dragons campaign, which began in 1982 and has continued for 44 years as of 2026.[1][2][3] Born in Redvers, Saskatchewan, to parents from England and Scotland, he blends his academic career with this legendary gaming endeavor.[1]
