Rob Coppolillo

Rob Coppolillo was an IFMGA/AMGA-certified mountain guide and owner of Vetta Mountain Guides who lived in Chamonix, France. Beyond his work as a guide, he was an accomplished wordsmith and storyteller who wrote extensively about cycling, climbing, skiing, and outdoor adventures. He grew up in the Denver, Colorado area and was known for his witty, informed pieces and engaging narratives about backcountry travel and mountain life.
