Rob Childs

Rob Childs is an ex-Leicestershire teacher and author of over 80 children's books, primarily focused on sports themes. Drawing on his extensive experience coaching and organizing school teams in football, athletics, cricket, and cross-country, he began writing full-time after the success of his 1987 book 'The Big Match'. He is well-known for series including The Big Match, Soccer Mad, Phantom Football, and County Cup, and has also written about dyslexia awareness in children's literature.
