Rivers Fletcher
Alec Francis Rivers Fletcher (1912-1999), known universally as 'Rivers,' was a legendary British motorsport enthusiast, driver, and author who worked under W.O. Bentley and served as riding mechanic to Sir Malcolm Campbell in 1928. He was instrumental in keeping motorsport alive during World War II and reviving it afterward, while also working as a documentary filmmaker, journalist, and prolific writer on automotive subjects.
