Rin Tanaka is a Japanese journalist, photographer, and vintage historian best known for his self-published *My Freedamn!* book series, which documents vintage Americana and related subcultures.[3][2] Sources also describe him as a leading figure in vintage fashion research and a prolific author of books on motorcycles, leather jackets, and American retro style.[4][5]
