Rick Houston is a veteran motorsports and space journalist with over 25 years of full-time experience, best known for his NASCAR books such as 'Second to None: The History of the NASCAR Busch Series' and 'NASCAR’s Greatest Race: The 1992 Hooters 500,' as well as works on NASA like 'The Unsung Heroes of Mission Control' and 'Go, Flight!' He began his career as a sports editor for The Alleghany News in 1992 before joining Winston Cup Scene, and now freelances while contributing to Christian publications and serving as a church deacon.
