Richard Paul Evans is an American author best known for his #1 bestseller The Christmas Box, a story of parental love and Christmas that launched his career, leading to over 40 New York Times bestsellers including the Michael Vey series. He founded The Christmas Box International in 1997 to build shelters and provide services for abused, neglected, and homeless children, serving over 85,000 children to date. Evans lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his family and has received numerous awards for his inspirational works with conservative Christian themes.
