Richard Newsome

Richard Newsome is a New Zealand-born author and former journalist who now lives in Brisbane, Australia, where he writes middle-grade fiction and teaches writing at the University of Queensland. His debut novel, The Billionaire's Curse, won the inaugural Text Prize for Children's and Young Adult writing and the Esther Glen medal, New Zealand's oldest literary award.
