Richard L. Weaver

Richard Malcolm Weaver Jr. (1910–1963) was an American scholar, intellectual historian, political philosopher, and English professor at the University of Chicago. He is best known for influential works such as *Ideas Have Consequences* and *The Ethics of Rhetoric*, which made him a prominent mid-20th-century conservative thinker and critic of modern rhetoric.[1][4]
