Richard Jesse Watson

Richard Jesse Watson is an award-winning artist, illustrator, and author known for his visual storytelling in children's picture books, blending realism and abstraction. He worked as a graphic designer for World Vision International and an artist for Hallmark Cards before illustrating James Dickey’s epic poem Bronwen, the Traw and the Shape-shifter in 1986. His art has been featured in exhibitions and publications, combining his love of art and literature.
