Richard J. Bonnie

Richard J. Bonnie is the Harrison Foundation Professor of Law and Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Law, where he also serves as Director of the Institute of Law, Psychiatry and Public Policy. He retired from teaching in 2023 after a distinguished 50-year career, having previously held prominent roles in public policy, psychiatry, and neurobehavioral sciences.
