Richard Howlett

Richard Howlett (1841–1917) was a British scholar and editor known for his work on historical chronicles. He edited the multi-volume 'Chronicles of the Reigns of Stephen, Henry II, and Richard I,' published between 1884 and 1889, and 'Monumenta Franciscana.' His editions provided critical historical background and surveys of sources for medieval Latin texts.[2][3]
