Richard Byrne

Richard Byrne is an award-winning playwright, poet, and journalist who received his B.A. in English from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County in 1986 and an M.F.A. in poetry and playwriting from Washington University. He lives in Washington, DC, works as an editor at The Chronicle of Higher Education, and has contributed writing to outlets including The Guardian, Washington Post, Foreign Policy, and Time magazine's website. His plays and other works are featured on his personal site, and he previously served as executive editor at The Globalist.[1][9]
