Richard Blanton

Richard E. Blanton is an American anthropologist, archaeologist, and academic renowned for his research on pre-Columbian Mesoamerican civilizations, particularly in the central Mexican plateau and Valley of Oaxaca. He is a Professor Emeritus of Anthropology at Purdue University and has made significant contributions to the study of early states, cities, and economies.
