Richard Baudians
Richard Baudains was born and bred in Jersey in the Channel Islands and trained as a teacher of English as a foreign language. After living in various wine regions of Italy including Piemonte, Tuscany, Liguria, and Trentino-Alto Adige, he settled in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. He is a prominent Anglo-Saxon wine writer, contributing to Decanter magazine, coordinating English editions of Gambero Rosso wine guides, and serving as president of the tasting commission for Italy at the World Wine Awards London.
