Rex Pickett

Rex Pickett is an American novelist and filmmaker born July 9, 1952, best known for his novel Sideways, which was adapted into the 2004 Oscar-winning film directed by Alexander Payne. He is also an accomplished screenwriter and director who won an Academy Award for Best Short Film in 1999 for My Mother Dreams the Devil's Disciples in New York.
