Ray Davies
Sir Raymond Douglas Davies (born 21 June 1944) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary songwriter for the rock band The Kinks, which he co-founded with his brother Dave in London in 1964. The Kinks achieved international success with hits like 'You Really Got Me,' 'Sunny Afternoon,' and 'Lola,' and Davies has also released solo albums, published books such as *X-Ray* (1994), and directed films including *Return to Waterloo* (1985).[2][1][4]
