Random House
Random House is a major American publishing house founded in 1927 by Bennett Cerf and Donald Klopfer as an imprint of Modern Library, quickly becoming one of the largest publishers in the United States through a series of acquisitions. In 2013, it merged with Penguin Group to form Penguin Random House, now owned by Bertelsmann. It publishes fiction, nonfiction, and children's books under various imprints.[1][2][6]
