Radomir Pleiner

Radomír Pleiner (1929–2015) was a pioneering archaeologist and metallurgist renowned for his six decades of contributions to the study of early iron working and historical metallurgy. He authored key works such as 'Iron Working in Ancient Greece' (1969), 'The Celtic Sword' (1993), and 'Iron in Archaeology: The European Bloomery Smelters' (2000), advancing understanding of ancient iron technologies across Europe, Greece, and the Assyrian civilization.
