Professor Ravindra Fernando
Professor Ravindra Fernando is a distinguished Sri Lankan forensic pathologist, toxicologist, and senior professor at the University of Colombo, known for his extensive work in forensic sciences, public health, and as the Chairman of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board. He holds multiple fellowships from the Commonwealth and WHO, has authored books on forensic analyses of crime and torture, and serves as the Director of the Centre for the Study of Human Rights at the University of Colombo. His career includes leadership roles such as Founder Head of the National Poisons Information Centre and service as a Home Office and Crown Office Pathologist in England, Wales, and Scotland.
