Professor Arthur Edward Waite
Arthur Edward Waite (1857–1942) was a British poet, writer, translator, and scholarly mystic known for his extensive work on occultism and Western esotericism. He is best remembered as the co-creator of the Rider–Waite tarot deck and for his influential studies of mystical and esoteric traditions.
