Polly Horvath

Polly Horvath is an American-Canadian author of novels for children and young adults, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is best known for winning the 2003 National Book Award for Young People's Literature for The Canning Season, and her work has also received honors such as a Newbery Honor and the Vicky Metcalf Award.
