Piers Brendon

Piers Brendon is a British historian and writer known for historical and biographical works. He studied history at Cambridge, taught at what is now Anglia Ruskin University, and later worked as a freelance writer, fellow of Churchill College, and Keeper of the Churchill Archives Centre.[1][2]
