Phyllis Chesler

Phyllis Chesler is an American writer, psychotherapist, and renowned second-wave feminist psychologist who has authored over 20 books, including the seminal work 'Women and Madness.' She is a professor emerita of psychology and women's studies at the College of Staten Island (CUNY) and the City University of New York, known for her advocacy on gender issues, violence against women, and Jewish feminism.
