Philip Rapp

Philip Rapp (1907–1996) was an American film and television director and screenwriter best known for creating the 1940s radio comedy duo the “Battling Bickersons.” He also wrote for major entertainers including Ben Blue, Don Ameche, Eddie Cantor, Joan Davis, Joe E. Brown, and Frank Morgan, and later worked in television on series such as *Topper* and *The Adventures of Hiram Holiday*.
