Philip J. Adler

Philip J. Adler (1930-2008) was a historian and Professor Emeritus of History at East Carolina University. He is known as the author of the textbook 'World Civilizations,' a widely used resource in history education. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he earned a Ph.D. and contributed significantly to academic publishing in world history.
