Phil Barker

Philip A. Barker (22 August 1920 – 8 January 2001) was a British archaeologist renowned for his contributions to excavation methodology. He authored the comprehensive guide *Techniques of Archaeological Excavation* in 1977, which remains in print. His work significantly influenced field archaeology practices.[1]
