Peter Watts

Peter Watts is a Canadian science fiction author and former marine mammal biologist, renowned for his work in the hard science fiction genre. He is the author of the acclaimed Rifters trilogy, which includes novels such as 'Blindsight' and 'Echopraxia', and has won multiple awards including the Hugo and Shirley Jackson Awards. Watts holds a Ph.D. in Zoology and Resource Ecology from the University of British Columbia.
