Peter Tonkin
Peter Tonkin is an Australian-born author of action-adventure, mystery, and historical fiction, best known for the long-running Mariner series and for novels such as Killer and The Journal of Edwin Underhill. Before becoming a full-time writer, he worked for many years as a teacher of English, History, and Law, and later began writing historically set series including Caesar’s Spies, Master of Defence, and The Trojan Murders.
