Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor (Matthew Hillsman Taylor Jr.) was an American novelist, short story writer, and playwright born in Trenton, Tennessee, in 1917. He is best known for his sharply observed fiction about the urban South and Tennessee gentry, and he won major literary honors including the Pulitzer Prize.
