Peter Schuster

Peter Schuster was an Austrian theoretical chemist known for developing the quasispecies model with Nobel Laureate Manfred Eigen, advancing understanding of viruses, replication, and the origin of life. He served as a professor at the University of Vienna and was president of the Austrian Academy of Sciences from 2006 to 2009.
