Peter Schrijver

Peter Schrijver is a Dutch historical linguist and professor of Celtic languages at Utrecht University, specializing in language change over the last ten thousand years in Europe, with a focus on Celtic and Indo-European linguistics. He holds a PhD from Leiden University and has published extensively on the reconstruction, syntax, and contact of ancient Celtic languages. His research also explores language change and contact in ancient Europe.
