Peter Nazareth

Peter Nazareth was a Ugandan-born literary critic, novelist, dramatist, and professor known for writing about Africa, the Goan diaspora, and postcolonial cultural politics. Born in Kampala in 1940, he studied at Makerere University and the University of Leeds, later teaching at the University of Iowa and publishing works such as *In a Brown Mantle* and *The General is Up*.[1][2][4]
