Peter Matthews

Peter Hugoe Matthews was a British linguist and historian of linguistics, best known for his work on linguistic morphology. He served as Professor and Head of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Cambridge from 1980 to 2001 and was a Fellow of St John's College, Cambridge, and the British Academy.[1]
