Peter Holman
Peter Kenneth Holman MBE is an English conductor and musicologist born in London, best known for reviving the music of Purcell and his English contemporaries.[1] He studied at King's College London with Thurston Dart and founded the pioneering early music group Ars Nova as a student.[2] Holman served as Professor of Historical Musicology at Leeds University and has directed multiple early music ensembles including The Parley of Instruments and Leeds Baroque.[2]
