Pete Townshend
Pete Townshend is an English musician, best known as the co-founder, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter of the rock band The Who, one of the most influential bands of the 1960s and 1970s. Born into a musical family in Chiswick, London, he wrote iconic rock operas like Tommy and Quadrophenia, and pioneered an aggressive guitar style and poetic songwriting. He released his autobiography Who I Am in 2012, chronicling his life and career.
