Pete Hegseth

Pete Hegseth is an American author, former television personality, and government official who served as the 29th Secretary of Defense beginning in 2025. He is a Princeton University graduate who served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army National Guard with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and later gained prominence as a conservative commentator on Fox & Friends Weekend. He has authored five books, including the New York Times best-seller The War on Warriors (2024).
