Penguin Group (Corporate Author)

Penguin Group is a British trade book publisher founded on 30 July 1935 by Allen Lane, V. K. Krishna Menon, Richard Lane, and John Lane as Penguin Books. It became part of Penguin Random House following a 2013 merger with Random House, now wholly owned by Bertelsmann since 2019. The company publishes under numerous prominent imprints including Viking, G. P. Putnam's Sons, and Penguin Press.
