Paulo Ribenboim

Paulo Ribenboim is a Brazilian-Canadian mathematician renowned for his extensive contributions to number theory, particularly in the study of prime numbers and Fermat's Last Theorem. He has authored over 200 research articles and numerous influential books, including '13 Lectures on Fermat's Last Theorem' and 'The New Book of Prime Number Records'. Ribenboim taught at Queen's University in Canada and is currently a professor emeritus, holding honors such as the Pólya Prize and being a member of the Royal Society of Canada.
