Paula Trachtman

Paula Trachtman was an author, editor, teacher, and activist born in Queens, New York, on August 22, 1931. She taught social studies for 30 years at a junior high school, published the suspenseful horror novel Disturb Not the Dream which sold over 500,000 copies, and was known for her talent in bringing people together. She died of a heart attack in her sleep on August 16, 2019, less than a week before her 88th birthday.[1][3]
