Paul Taylor

Paul Taylor is a journalist and author known for his work on demographics and generational trends, having served as executive vice president at the Pew Research Center from 2003 to 2014, overseeing demographic, social, and generational research. He authored 'The Next America: Boomers, Millennials and the Looming Generational Showdown' (PublicAffairs, 2014 and 2016), drawing on his Pew expertise, as well as 'See How They Run' (Knopf, 1990) and co-authored 'The Old News Versus the New News' (Twentieth Century Fund, 1992). Prior to Pew, he was a newspaper reporter for 25 years, including 14 at The Washington Post, covering U.S. presidential campaigns and serving as bureau chief in South Africa during the end of apartheid.
