Paul Shipton
Paul Shipton, born June 15, 1963, in Manchester, England, is an English children's author who studied Classics and Philosophy at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and Manchester University, earning two master's degrees.[1][2][3] After teaching English in Istanbul and the UK, he published his first book *Zargon Zoo* in 1991 and later moved to the United States, working as a freelance writer and editor while producing popular series like *The Pig Scrolls* and *Bug Muldoon*.[1][3] He writes under the pen name Paul Cooper and divides his time between Cambridge, England, and Madison, Wisconsin.[2][3]
