Paul Mariani

Paul Mariani is an acclaimed American poet, biographer, and critic born in 1940 in New York City, known for his extensive biographies of major modern American poets such as Robert Lowell, William Carlos Williams, and Hart Crane. He served as a distinguished professor at Boston College and the University of Massachusetts, where he taught modern poetry for over fifty years and published seven volumes of his own poetry.
