Paul Magdalino

Paul Magdalino is a British Byzantinist and Emeritus Bishop Wardlaw Professor of Byzantine History at the University of St Andrews. A Fellow of the British Academy, his work focuses on the politics, society, culture, and religious life of the middle Byzantine Empire, especially Constantinople, astrology, and political ideology.
